14-Year-Old Diya From Tampines Secondary School Is Our DFW Model Crush

After the whirlwind four-day fashion fiesta that is Digital Fashion Week, one model stood out among the bevy of faces on the runway: 14-year-old Diya Prabhakar from model agency Looque.

As one of the very few Indian models to walk the DFW runway (diversity, yay!), her towering presence and long, long, long legs were features that would easily make her a force to be reckoned with, given a few more years for her to polish her walk. Diya is no stranger to modeling: the Tampines Secondary School student has been on the runways of Frederick Lee’s couture collection at the recent Amber Lounge party as well as the press conference for Fide Fashion Week.

What struck us was her humble disposition off the runway: the shy, sweet girl was definitely her age when you speak to her and revealed that she was scouted last year while on a trip to India. We predict amazing things happening to Diya in the years to come, given her statuesque frame and strong look beyond her years. Look out for this girl.
