NEUTRA’s Corbula and Atico Redefine Marble as Living Architecture at Milan Design Week 2026

The design studio Migliore+Servetto, creative director of NEUTRA, a company specialised in the processing of marble and natural stone, returns to curate the second chapter of MONOCHROME AFFINITY at Palazzo Visconti. It is a multisensory installation centred on marble and the presentation of new products for the brand’s 2026 collection.

Continuing its material-driven experimentation, Migliore+Servetto pushes marble beyond its traditional perception, introducing bold processes that reveal an unexpected sense of lightness. Through milling, engraving, and surface modification, stone becomes a landscape of almost imaginary geologies, where depth is suggested within what is normally a monolithic, two-dimensional slab. The dialogue between marble, glass, and reflective metals generates shifting glimmers and optical vibrations, shaping intimate yet dynamic environments at the heart of contemporary living.

Within this immersive setting, two new storage systems articulate a vocabulary of modular elegance and sculptural functionality.

1. Corbula, Storage Unit
Corbula is the most architecturally striking piece in the collection. It turns storage into a sculptural façade, combining ultra-thin marble (just 3 mm) with a satin-finished aluminum structure. The concentric milling on the doors adds a sense of depth and movement, almost like carved geological rings. What makes it especially strong is its dual character: visually monumental yet materially light, and versatile enough to function as a divider, not just a cabinet. It sits at the intersection of furniture and spatial architecture.

2. Atico, Coffee Table
Atico stands out for its spatial intelligence and material choreography. Rather than a conventional tabletop, it’s structured like a circular ribbed system where marble, glass, and metal interlock in a vortex-like composition. The central void, where the glass surface integrates into the structure, is what makes it memorable—it turns absence into a functional and visual feature. It feels less like a table and more like a kinetic object frozen in balance.
