Some concerts are measured by production value. Others are remembered because they finally bring together an artist and fans who have spent years waiting for the same moment. XIA (Kim Junsu)’s 2026 XIA 6TH ASIA TOUR CONCERT GRAVITY in Singapore belonged firmly to the latter.
Held at the Resorts World Convention Centre on 19 July, the concert marked the South Korean singer’s long-awaited first-ever performance in Singapore, closing the Southeast Asian leg of his GRAVITY Asia Tour with a night that felt both celebratory and deeply personal by Titans Entertainment, that brought the show to the shore.
Across two hours, XIA showcased songs from GRAVITY—his first full-length studio album in a decade—while revisiting the catalogue that has defined a remarkable 23-year career. His renowned live vocals remained the evening’s centrepiece, effortlessly moving between emotional ballads, theatrical storytelling and explosive dance performances, reminding audiences why he continues to be regarded as one of Korea’s most accomplished live performers.
What elevated the evening beyond a concert was the connection between artist and audience. Speaking candidly throughout the show, XIA reflected on finally meeting Singapore fans in person, sharing his affection for the city and promising to return. His curiosity about local cuisine sparked one of the night’s most charming exchanges, with fans enthusiastically recommending Hokkien mee—a suggestion he happily vowed to try.
The audience responded with unwavering enthusiasm. A sea of pink lightsticks transformed the venue into a glowing tribute to his fandom, while spontaneous song requests from the front rows led to one of the night’s standout moments as XIA performed them entirely live, demonstrating the confidence and vocal control that have become hallmarks of his career.
As the final stop of the GRAVITY tour across Seoul, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong and Singapore, the concert served as a fitting conclusion to a journey defined by reunions, firsts and enduring loyalty between artist and fans.
More than a decade after his last full-length album and over two decades into his career, XIA proved that true longevity is built not simply on nostalgia, but on consistently delivering performances that continue to resonate. Singapore may have been his first stop, but judging from the audience’s response, and his own promise, it is unlikely to be his last.
