Remember when nightlife spot Kilo Lounge got booted from the Kampong Bugis area because it was not part of the masterplan for the development of the area? (Boo. We even praised the heck out of it.)
Well, rejoice! The nightlife spot is back and will reopen in December, according to a press release Thursday. Kilo Lounge, managed by Series of Intentions, has yet to reveal its new location – its Facebook page is still tagged to its former location at 66 Kampong Bugis.
Honeycombers reports that the new location is to be seated somewhere in the Tanjong Pagar area, nestled between the bevy of cocktail bars in the district.
But for now, those missing a slice of what Kilo Lounge has to offer can join in at three pop-up parties at three separate, undisclosed locations that will only be revealed on the day itself.
The first party on November 18 (Friday) features underground house DJ W!LD from France, who has spun at various spots including Circoloco at DC10 in Ibiza and has some of his newer material on his own label imprint W. Oliver Osborne and Jeck Hyde will also spin at the event.
The next event will be held the following day featuring Petar Dundrov (Croatia) and Brendon P (Singapore), while the final event on November 25 will feature The Revenge (UK) and Maurice Simon (Singapore).
Tickets are on sale online for $20 at a limited time only via their respective Peatix channels, while door tickets go at $30. It’s gonna be an unabashed riot at Kilo, and for what it’s worth, we’re all set for a bomb time to usher in the Kilo Lounge we’ve all come to know and love.
