NoMad Singapore Could Be the Hotel That Redefines Orchard Road

For decades, Orchard Road has been synonymous with luxury shopping. By late 2026, it may become something even more compelling: one of Asia’s most exciting lifestyle districts.

That’s where NoMad comes in. Making its Asia Pacific debut, NoMad Singapore, well-known for its decor and service in London, isn’t simply Hilton adding another luxury hotel to its portfolio. It’s the arrival of one of hospitality’s most influential lifestyle brands at a time when Orchard Road is undergoing its biggest transformation in years, brought to life by UOL Group Limited (UOL), a Singapore-listed property and hospitality firm.

We are excited to introduce NoMad to Singapore as part of our placemaking vision for Orchard Road, alongside UOL’s upcoming private and exclusive preview of its luxury residential project, UPPERHOUSE at Orchard Boulevard, and the award-winning Pan Pacific Orchard, forming a trio that will contribute to the transformation of Orchard Road. NoMad makes guests feel like locals in the world’s most sought-after neighbourhoods and the Orchard Road precinct offers that luxury lifestyle space.”

As Singapore shifts the precinct beyond retail. With new public spaces, experiential dining, entertainment venues and community programming: NoMad’s philosophy feels perfectly aligned. Rather than treating the hotel as a destination unto itself, the brand encourages guests to explore the neighbourhood as locals would. That is the essence of NoMad.

More than another luxury hotel

Unlike traditional luxury hotels built around grand ballrooms and formal experiences, NoMad is designed around personality. Each property tells the story of its city through architecture, a large proportion of locally commissioned artwork, culinary concepts, by Chef Lorenz Hoja, and cultural programming, surrounding the New York inspired Tropicana Club. Guests are encouraged to discover hidden neighbourhood gems rather than remain inside the hotel.

“NoMad Singapore will bring together modern elegance and the city’s dynamic cultural energy, offering a distinct experience that reflects the brand’s character. We look forward to making NoMad a standout presence in the market, delivering exceptional stays that go beyond traditional luxury and resonate with discerning travellers.”

For Singapore, that means placing visitors within easy reach of Orchard Road while also connecting them to Bugis, Arab Street and Chinatown. Some of the city’s most vibrant cultural districts.

An architectural landmark in the making

Occupying the former Faber House site on Orchard Road, the 173-room hotel is expected to become one of the most distinctive additions to Singapore’s skyline. Designed by acclaimed Singapore architectural practice WOHA, the building embraces the firm’s signature tropical urbanism philosophy.

Among its standout features are: a dramatic cascading waterfall extending approximately 15 storeys, a lush vertical gardens integrated throughout the façade, as well as a cliff-inspired landscaping that softens the tower’s urban profile and a nature-first architecture that blurs the line between city and rainforest.

NoMad’s arrival also reflects Hilton’s broader luxury ambitions. As part of an eight-brand expansion across Asia Pacific, NoMad joins new regional debuts including Signia by Hilton, while Canopy, Curio Collection and LXR Hotels & Resorts continue the company’s push into experience-led luxury travel. Rather than competing solely on room count or star ratings, Hilton is investing in brands that appeal to travellers seeking authenticity, design, food culture and neighbourhood immersion.
