December Pop Culture Hit List

AUTHOR

If you are hunting for last-minute Christmas gifts or looking to soak in the festive sparkle, Orchard Road and beyond have rolled out a surprising mix of pop culture, concerts, and experiential light-ups this December.

Start at The Holiday Caravan outside Mandarin Gallery, where global pop culture meets collectors’ paradise. Running till 4 January 2026, the outdoor retail containers are packed with exclusive drops from Sanrio, Hello Kitty, One Piece, Jay Chou, Rosé, Baekhyun and more.

Whether you are tearing into Mighty Jaxx’s newest Sanrio blind boxes, or eyeing One Piece’s half-skeletal figurines, the Carnival of Surprises booth is a sure-win for cute (and affordable) gifting. Music fans can swing by Artist Universe for G-Dragon’s iconic flower lightstick, Baekhyun’s themed hoodies, and Rosé’s vinyls, caps, and APT charms. Meanwhile, Mandopop loyalists can keep an eye out for the reopening of the Chou Chou booth, dedicated to Jay Chou merch.

Over at Resorts World Sentosa, holiday nights take on a cinematic glow with Emerald City at the Lake of Dreams. On select evenings, the steps shimmer to life in Limitless Lights: An Ozmopolitan Display of Music & Lights, a technicolour illumination inspired by the beloved film—perfect for families and evening Christmas tree photo opportunities, that were recently graced by Hollywood favourites, Michelle Yeoh, Arianna Grande and more.

Music lovers can also mark their calendars: Westlife returns to Singapore for a gala evening on 3 February 2026 at the Singapore EXPO Arena, following a successful staging of Mariah Carey by Ovation Productions. The show is set to mirror the band’s recent sold-out Royal Albert Hall performance, with tickets going live on Sistic soon.

This is more than just a concert; it’s a grand, orchestral gala experience that will see them performing all the hits like you have never heard them before. Partnering with The Metropolitan Festival Orchestra allows us to deliver that world-class, unforgettable night right here at the Arena @ Expo.

Meanwhile, comedian Jimmy O Yang has launched his third and final show on 13 December 2025, at the end of November on the heels of his popular performances in Singapore, so do not miss copping your tickets.

For something indulgent, the Coravin Timeless Six+ lands in a limited-edition Hermitage Red this festive season. Its precision needle and argon-gas technology let wine enthusiasts pour from prized bottles without ever popping the cork—an elegant, functional gift for collectors and oenophiles.

This December, whether you’re gifting, glowing up your nights out, or planning next year’s concerts, Singapore delivers no shortage of festive sparkle, and ways to line your Christmas stockings with marvellous gifts to send festive cheer.
