Singapore is turning up the volume. Global entertainment powerhouse Live Nation is bringing its first-ever Southeast Asian venue to the heart of Orchard Road, a bold move that marks a new era for live music in the region.
Developed in collaboration with Lendlease and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the upcoming 3,000-capacity venue at Grange Road promises more than just concerts. It’s a multi-concept entertainment space built with multiple performance rooms and stages, designed to spotlight both international touring acts and local talent.
Beyond the mainstage, the venue doubles as a community-centric hotspot. A café and bar on site will also serve as a flexible event space — think intimate gigs, pop-ups, and cultural gatherings — making it a day-to-night lifestyle destination.
“Live Nation is pleased to expand the live music market in Singapore with the new venue,” said Greg Gillin, Senior Vice President of Venue Development, Live Nation Asia. With decades of global touring experience, Live Nation is expected to bring top-tier operations and fresh momentum to the scene.
Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive at STB, described the initiative as a key pillar in Orchard Road’s ongoing rejuvenation. “This initiative will contribute significantly to the ongoing rejuvenation of Orchard Road, expand the lifestyle offerings in the precinct and boost its attractiveness to locals and visitors,” she said.
For Lendlease, the project aligns with their vision of transforming the Somerset stretch into a thriving cultural zone, with graffiti artists such as Tell Your Children and more, adorning the murals. With construction underway, the venue is poised to redefine Orchard Road not just as a shopping destination, but a beating heart of regional entertainment.
