Titled The Celebration Of Mimi, the concert brought to you by ColorAsiaLive commemorates the 20th anniversary of Carey’s landmark 2005 album The Emancipation of Mimi, an album that’s not only close to the singer’s heart, but one that changed the course of her career. Hailed as one of the greatest comeback albums in pop history, it earned her three Grammy Awards (including Best Contemporary R&B Album) and went on to sell over 15 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century.
Fans can expect a powerful, nostalgic ride through some of Carey’s most iconic hits, including We Belong Together, It’s Like That, and Shake It Off. All other UOB cardholders can purchase tickets during the extended presale from August 13 to 19. General sales open to the public on August 20 at 10am, with tickets available via Sistic. Prices start at S$98, with VIP packages going up to S$398.
