Fullerton Landmark Is Getting a New Lease on Life, With Moutai House Opening in October 2026

One of Singapore’s historic landmarks is about to welcome a collection of rare bottles, bringing Chinese heritage and contemporary hospitality together on the waterfront.

Mountai House Singapore, South-East Asia’s first, is slated to open at the iconic Fullerton Waterboat House in late October 2026.

At its heart is the Moutai Experiential Centre, where visitors can discover the history, ingredients and craftsmanship behind one of China’s best-known baijiu producers through sight, scent, touch and taste. The first-floor will showcase annual vintages dating back to 1965, alongside more than 300 exclusive labels and rare bottles valued at up to $1 million. Upstairs, Imperial Treasure presents Guizhou and Huaiyang cuisines, incorporating moutai into selected dishes through techniques including marinating, flash-frying and braising.

The experience extends beyond the bottle. Imperial Treasure Restaurant Group will bring Guizhou and Huaiyang cuisine to the table, while Sohaus, a rooftop bar conceptualised by the team behind Nutmeg & Clove, will serve Moutai-inspired cocktails against views of Singapore’s skyline and waterfront.Bringing together heritage, gastronomy and design, Moutai House Singapore offers a fresh take on the branded-house concept — transforming a historic address into a destination for discovery, dining and socialising.

For Moutai House managing director Shi Yunding, the ambition is to reposition moutai as a spirit to be enjoyed, rather than simply collected. With Singapore serving as a key international market for Kweichow Moutai, the opening signals a new chapter for the Chinese liquor brand, connecting its heritage with the city’s evolving food and beverage scene.
