Amidst the announcement of a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Marina Bay Sands (MBS), United Overseas Bank (UOB) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), comes the exciting news of MARQUEE Singapore’s 5th Anniversary celebrations.
Scheduled from 9 to 13 April, the festivities promise a stellar lineup of performances, including global sensations Tiësto, DJ VICE, along with K-pop royalty Chung Ha.
MARQUEE Singapore, a nightclub, with roots stemming from hospitality franchise Tao Group in America, will mark its milestone anniversary with an electrifying series of events under the theme “MARQUEE Odyssey”. Guests are invited to embark on a cosmic journey, immersing themselves in a night of revelry amidst an otherworldly ambiance inspired by stars and galaxies.
Since its inception in 2019, MARQUEE Singapore has captivated partygoers with its state-of-the-art sound system. From its life-sized indoor ferris wheel to its spiraling three-storey slide, MARQUEE offers a sensory experience unlike any other, drawing inspiration from amusement parks and outdoor music festivals. Over the past five years, with a format borrowed from some of the key iconic nightspots in Singapore, MARQUEE Singapore through the musical selection selection of localized bookers and DJs, have played host to an impressive roster of international acts.
This has cemented its reputation as a go-to spot for electronic music acts who wish to DJ in Asia. From resident DJs, such as NashD, to headline performers like Peggy Gou, Charlotte de Witte, Alesso, Jackson Wang, Steve Aoki, and Hardwell, MARQUEE has consistently delivered unforgettable experiences for its patrons.
In conjunction with MARQUEE Singapore’s anniversary celebrations, the MoU between MBS, UOB, and STB sets the stage for enhanced collaborations aimed at elevating the Marina Bay precinct. Through strategic initiatives and shared resources, the partners are committed to driving awareness, attracting visitors, and fostering sustainable tourism growth within the precinct.
As Marina Bay Sands continues to evolve as a leading lifestyle and business destination, collaborations with STB and National Arts Council (NAC), alongside iconic venues like MARQUEE Singapore underscore the precinct’s vibrant and dynamic character. With the support of UOB and STB, Marina Bay Sands is poised to unlock new opportunities, enriching the visitor experience and reinforcing Singapore’s position as a global hub for entertainment and hospitality.
