Singapore Favourite Food 2013: Bringing You The Best Of Local Cuisine (Part 2)

As a nation that’s constantly eating, local food is near and dear to our hearts (and stomachs)! Countless indelible memories have been forged growing up, chowing down on some mighty fine hawker fare. So visiting the Singapore Favourite Food Village (SFF Village) at Marina Bay undoubtedly brought us back to childhood with over 40 different local dishes to feast on.

Commemorating Singapore Food Festival’s 20th Anniversary, the SFF village will be open till Sunday 21 July 2013 featuring 20 of Singapore’s favourite hawkers.

We were excited to see some of our own favourites like China Street Fritters Ngoh Hiang from Maxwell Food Centre, Fortune Food Popiah from Albert Centre Market and QQ Soya Bean Tau Huay from Changi.

To make your indulgence all the much easier, they’ve also gone cashless in the SFF Village. Upon entry, purchase a limited edition Singapore Favourite Food 2013 FlashPay Card at $12 so you can easily “flash” your card at the booth for easy, breezy payment.

We recommend you bring an empty stomach, plus your 10 best friends for a feast like no other. It’s the closest you’ll get to a “hawker convention” so do us a favour, and don’t miss out!
