An online community that first took root in 2002 and was founded on passion for the music genre, Trance Republic has evolved into an active community of over 2200 trance and progressive music lovers in Singapore. Desiring to take their love of trance to the next level, they have collaborated with clubs such as Canvas, Avalon and Azzura (Sentosa) in organising a variety of trance events. These events attract a passionate community, who come together for an energy-filled, ear-popping night filled with the best mix of tunes.
Their latest foray would be the Mental Asylum Singapore, a massive 6 hour trance party with 3 international DJs happening on Labour Day eve at Altimate Club. 3 international DJs killing the decks for the night include Jase Thirwall, Indecent Noise and Standerwick, hailing from Scotland, Poland and UK respectively. Together, they command an international following in the trance arena.
Put together, expect a night of epic proportions. Jase Thirwall is known for his hard, cutting-edge trance beats, and secures slots for greats such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. As for Standerwick, his rise in the DJing scene has been incredible, and he now he has two of Beatport’s No. 1 hits under his belt. Last but not least, there is Indecent Noise, who makes use of his laptop and midi controllers to craft his tunes. It certainly is a night not to be missed.
