Calling all amateur cooks – think you can be the next Christine Ha or Luca Manfé?
The MasterChef hit reality series that has spawned international and junior versions around the world is coming to Asia! To be filmed in Singapore, the 15-episode series will feature 3 judges (to be announced at a later date) and will premiere on the Lifetime Channel later this year. We’re placing our bets that K F Seetoh will represent the +65.
Selected contestants from all over Asia who make the cut will be featured against the culturally vibrant backdrop of our home country and if our never-ending disagreements of the best hokkien mee or bak chor mee are anything to go by, we’re guessing that the knives and forks will be out from Episode 1.
Budding chefs who want stab at MasterChef Asia fame should submit your best audition video to www.masterchefasia.com between now and 5 March 2015.
Also, check out the MasterChef Asia Facebook page for further updates. For now, we’ll go back to arguing about the best hokkien mee (Geylang Lorong 29, obviously).
MasterChef Asia is presented by Singapore Tourism Board, Changi Airport, Knorr and Panasonic.
