Just last year, I reviewed Alexis Mabille’s designs for Women’s Fashion Week 2011. Noting that he allowed his creativity to flow unrestrained like the Nile, I likened him to a magician as he had the ability of transforming childhood fantasies into wearable garments. His passion for fashion was unmistakably infectious! This year, he was invited to showcase his Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 collection as part of French Couture Week 2012 where he envisioned women as jewels.
