Yes, it has been particularly humid these past few weeks. We feel you. That does not mean you have to walk around and infect your surroundings with the scent of rancid sweat.

We have put together some fragrance options that are hitting Singapore’s shores in the coming months, which will go a long way to keep you smelling fresh.

August

At the tip of everyone’s tongue is Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Dream launch, as it is a more sophisticated version of the first launched Marc Jacobs Daisy. With fruity top notes of blackberry and grapefruit, this effortlessly feminine fragrance is inspired by the smell of summer; and grounded with the base notes of white wood, musks and coconut water.

Oh, and of course, the bottle. Certainly one of our favourites this season. The clear glass container is adorned with pale daisies, and accented with a silver cap. If for any reason you are not a fan of the floral hints, well, at least you have a gorgeous bottle to add to your collection.

September

Nude alert. Hugo Boss’ Ma Vie will hit stores in Singapore come September. With hints of cedarwood in the fragrance blended into pink freesia and jasmine petals, we are sure this will be a style staple for many.

October

The story goes that Doutzen Kroes, the face of REVEAL by Calvin Klein was a couple of months into her pregnancy when the advertorial was shot. We can hardly tell she is due, because she still looks smoking.

The team was adamant on using the leggy Dutch beauty as a symbol of fashion coming full circle, as she fronted the first Calvin Klein fragrance, Eternity

The oriental fragrance, REVEAL, will be heading to a store near you in October. Expect warm notes of sandalwood,  and a dash of raw salt and peppers. Spicy.
