Tang + Co store undergoes a transformation with exciting new designer labels for the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The latest collection carries a wide range of designer labels for both men and women. The launch took place at 1-altitude where guests were treated to finger food and free flow of drinks. To keep the guests occupied before the event started, 1-altitude contacted a talented band to perform covers of well-known songs.

The launch started off with designs from a new international label, MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela. MM6 stands as a complimentary vision of Maison Martin Margiela on femininity. The latest collection takes inspiration from military and sportswear executed in Nordic echoes.

One of my favourite pieces was from Tibi which is known for its clean, feminine and relaxed clothing. This blue top (shown below) gives off a synergy of masculinity and femininity with a conservative front and a blazing hot low cut back.

And once again, Thom Browne’s latest designs show us why modern men must wear tailored pieces. His new collection shows off his signature look which consists of structure and fit which has helped make his designs very popular among men today. However, the jackets do not seemed to be tailored to the models’ proportions as the buttons appear to be a little too high.

But of course, there are many more selections of new-luxury fashion that have not been covered in this post such as Chalayan Gray, Koon Hor and the like. The addition of more designer labels have helped Tang + Co to maintain its popularity and, also to expand its presence in men’s fashion. Do drop by Tang + Co to see its new and extensive collection of the different designer brands, both local and international.
