Juicy Couture Fall 2012 Presentation at Dominic Khoo’s 28th Février

The current season’s presentation took place in spontaneous event and gallery space 28th Février, owned by celebrity photographer Dominic Khoo. As a brand that caters to an ever-changing demographic, Juicy Couture is taking bold steps to stay relevant. Their signature fuchsia pink continued to decorate everything from banners, bags and hats to candy cane straws, that really contrasted against the all-white walls. However, take a closer look at the details and notice the sleeker ‘JC’ logo. The Juicy Couture girl still wears tracksuits, but of cashmere instead of cotton. She tends to be more discreet, and appreciates the nuances of ladylike dressing.

Other touches can be seen in their growing style repertoire, which involves more intricate prints, knits and fabric treatments. Fall’s collection crosses the vibes of cool California with urban London. LeAnn Nealz, Juicy Couture Chief Creative Officer and Co-President, describes it as the Juicy Couture girl’s “desire to be a little more polished and pulled together.” Shine in hardware and metallics for the Holiday season, play it casual with a preppy jacket and plaid, or refine elegance with silk and paisley. Either way, their take on traditional British tailoring will ensure you look proper.

Our favorite is this positively English leopard print capelet and plaid on plaid look. She carries a classic bowler’s bag to lend that little extra pop, but deep down you know she’s an L.A. girl because of that rocking gold and black leather cuff.
