UPDATE: Check out our review here!

On September 1, be ready to be wowed as up-and-coming Singapore fashion photographer Fadli Rahman unveils his first-ever solo exhibition titled “…And God Created Man”.

At the tender age of 19, Fadli Rahman has already been touted as one of the photographers to watch in the future. Currently honing his craft in LASALLE College of The Arts specializing in Fashion Communications, Fadli is a jack of all trades – versatile in the styling as well as designing fashion pieces.

Never shy to capture provocative images with his signature touch of whimsical and dreamy looks, Fadli’s works entice and fascinate. Dark, volatile and emotive, Fadli Rahman’s photographs encapsulate the rawness and sensuality that can characterise fashion photography. Fadli’s exhibit at LASALLE’s TriSpace is a review of his works over the last two years.

His focus on the male physique and female domination – that real masculinity is expressed through genuine submission and that man is exalted only when he is willing to be humbled – is an exploration of the human anatomy. Challenging the public perception of nudity as taboo, he hopes to provoke the usually conservative viewer with his bold and extroverted photographs.

He has shot for emerging local designers and the new faces of the fashion world and cites photographers such as Steve Klein, Mario Sorrenti and Juergen Teller as his inspiration. He has shot for magazines such as Oxygen Magazine and Prive Asia.
