So Halloween’s approaching. Too bad it’s not celebrated that much in Singapore. Local indie cinema The Projector is helping solve that problem with its special Halloween screening, featuring some of the creepiest horror films ever made!
Starting Tuesday, 27th October 2015, The Projector will be screening a series of horror flicks every night, culminating in a double screening on Halloween night itself. Entry for these films are by donation only, and your contributions will help keep The Projector running (not a literal projector… you get what I mean).
Help yourself to some context and scare yourself silly with these trailers:
The Devil’s Backbone
Under The Skin
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
The only thing that’s missing now is some salty popcorn. Now that’s a nightmare (sweet popcorn ftw).
The Projector revives two cinema halls and the 5th floor foyer of the historic Golden Theatre as an independent cinema and creative platform that brings together a great selection of films, one-of-a-kind events, versatile spaces, and delectable fare. Find out more about this quaint cinema in our feature from earlier this year.
