All tickets to the highly anticipated local film 7 Letters were fully taken up just two hours after ticketing began on its official website at 12 noon on Wednesday, 1st July.
7 Letters is an anthology of Singapore stories by seven acclaimed film directors – Boo Junfeng, Eric Khoo, K. Rajagopal, Jack Neo, Tan Pin Pin, Roystan Tan and Kelvin Tong – a project made in celebration of the nation’s 50th birthday.
Tickets to 7 Letters are not priced. Each ticket holder is instead invited to make a donation at the screenings, the proceeds of which will go towards aiding specific causes in the community through beneficiaries that the directors have chosen.
It will premiere at the Capitol Theatre on 24th July. A total of six screenings will take place from 24th to 26th July, making 7 Letters the first film to premiere at the iconic location. The theatre can seat close to 1,000 people at capacity.
The gala screening of 7 Letters will take place over three nights from 24 to 26 July 2015. 7 Letters is made with the support of the Singapore Film Commission (SFC).
