Hold your pursestrings, ladies and gents.
Bangkok’s famous hipster flea Artbox is making a beeline for Singapore – and if it’s any indication, the flea is set to be one to jet to when it arrives this May.
The Bangkok flea is most commonly known for having Thai artisans hawk their goods and services in shipping container boxes.
Expect the hipster concept to take root here with a music stage and more than 200 fashion stalls and 60 food stalls offering everything from handmade goods to trendy snacks. (Will we see the return of the rainbow bagel?)
This will be Artbox’s first foreign concept, which they have titled “It’s Time To Move On”. Pre-sale prices for rentals at Artbox Singapore range from 16,200 baht (S$652) for three days to 18,900 baht (S$761).
Artbox Singapore will be on from 14-16 Apr and 21-23 Apr over two weekends from 3-11pm at The Lawn @ Marina Bay, in between The Sail @ Marina Bay and the Marina Bay Financial Centre. The flea market is accessible via Downtown MRT Station.
