2019 is shaping up to be quite the spectacle for indie music lovers.
First up, we’ve got the unorthodox sounds of indie collective Superorganism on 11 January, followed by Jon Hopkins on Feburary 13, with the icing on the cake being indie goddess Mitski performing in Singapore at the end of the month.
The 28-year-old Japanese-American dream-pop starlet will perform at Kilo Lounge on 23rd February, 7.30pm — promising a night filled with raw emotion, heartbreak and dancing.
Mitski is currently riding off the wave of three critically-acclaimed albums, Bury Me at Makeout Creek, Puberty 2, and Be the Cowboy, with the latest being released earlier in August this year.
Critics have called Be the Cowboy “her greatest (album) to date”, praising it for her instrumentals, personal lyrics, and conceptual themes.
Tickets are priced at $70 each, and can be bought here,
