In an era where YouTube and social media is dominant, internet presence is one of the most important things that any young burgeoning artist can have. Just tell that to English singer-songwriter Birdy – who first shot to fame after amassing nearly 105 million views on her hit cover of Bon Iver‘s “Skinny Love”.
Come August, fans of the 20-year-old indie folk star will have the chance to catch her performing live in Singapore at Suntec City on 2 August!
The indie folk singer, also best known for hits like “Keeping Your Head Up”, “Let It All Go”, and “Tee Shirt”, has been nominated for a Brit Award (for British Female Solo Artist) since, and has written songs for the hit movies The Fault in Our Stars and The Hunger Games.
The young singer-songwriter brings to mind the likes of indie-rock band Daughter, Gabrielle Aplin, and English band London Grammar.
Birdy will be promoting her latest release Beautiful Lies, which was last released in March 25.
