For lovers of the great outdoors, spectacular indie music, and campfires (yes, you got that right) – then you’re in for a special treat. With the March holidays fast approaching, Wanderland Arts and Music Festival 2016 is the festival made for you.
Held in Manilla, the Philippines, this one-day Music and Arts festival will see the likes of Indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie, acclaimed folk-crooner Bon Iver, electronic five-piece The Naked and Famous, Disco pop outfit San Cisco, electropop duo Panama, chillwave prodigy Blackbird Blackbird and synth-pop singer Chad Valley grace the Makati Globe Circuit Event Grounds on 5th March!
The festival will also host born-and-bred Filipino acts who are are none to be trifled with – judging by the incredible experience we had last year. Indie PBR&B queen Jess Connelly together with ambient producer CRWN, Laneway Singapore alumnus Cheats, Drake-styled rapper Curtismith, with Motown collective Jensen And The Flips round up the spectacular line-up.
Many of these acts are performing single separate shows in Singapore, and it makes good sense to watch these acts at one go – and in a perfect live festival setting at that.
Wanderland brings several other Southeast Asian Music and Arts Festivals to mind, such as Singapore’s wildly successful Neon Lights Festival, Malaysia’s Urbanscapes, and Thailand’s Wonderfruit Festival.
