This is definitely not just another picnic for ice cream lovers.

Promising chunks of fun, Singapore’s biggest ice cream festival is back for their seventh year at the Meadow, Gardens By The Bay on Saturday October 4 from 2pm – 10pm.

If you haven’t already guessed, the stars of the carnival will be the new revolutionary line of Ben & Jerry’s Core ice cream flavours (Salted Caramel Core, Hazed & Confused, That’s My Jam) with some 11 flavours flown in exclusively from the US (think hot favourite Red Velvet Cake!) and Singapore’s top favourites.

Here is the seemingly endless list of B&J ice cream flavours to choose from (we’re already salivating):

Cookie Affair
Americone Dream
White Russian
Banana Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt
Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Liz Lemon Greek Yogurt
Butter Pecan
Mint Chocolate Chunk
Scotchy Scotch Scotch
Salted Caramel Blondie
Hazed & Confused Core
Candy Bar Pie
Couch Potato
Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Sweet Cream Cookies
Strawberry Cheesecake
That’s My Jam Core
Red Velvet Cake
Peanut Butter Fudge Core

But then again, what’s a festival without live bands and activities? B&J has partnered with various organisations to bring you engaging games and live music featuring Still Sunrise, The Neon Exhibit and Debbie Do. To top it all off, Chunk Fest 2014 features an exciting movie under the stars (Divergent) in the evening! We can’t believe all these are FOC, seriously.

Beyond selfishly indulging in glorious ice cream, this year’s ChunkFest highlight is Sundae School, an intimate and interactive forum running alongside Ben & Jerry’s Join Our Core competition to find young bright sparks who are creating businesses that embrace the Ben & Jerry’s founders’ philosophy of giving back to the community.

Now in its second session, come celebrate, meet and hear from some social innovation heroes from various fields between 3 – 5pm as they reflect unique experiences of ‘taking the first step’ to ‘keeping it going’ – while enjoying a scoop of ice cream on the house! You can also grab a coffee, get a manicure or buy some exquisite jewellery from B&J’s social mission partners at the Social Enterprise Marketplace.

We think that Chunk Fest 2014 a perfect excuse to binge on everyone’s two favourite men (Ben and Jerry, for the uninitiated). Yaaaasss we gotta watch what we eat, but who says we have to watch how much hard-core fun to have? Bottom line is, we think you’ll fancy a drop by to the Meadows next Saturday. See you guys there! x

Ben & Jerry’s Chunk Fest 2014 is open to public.
