Faker No More: Laneway Festival 2017 Introduces Nick Murphy's First Singapore Show

Melbourne artist Chet Faker, best known for his hit “No Diggity“, has dropped his alias and is now writing, producing, recording and performing under his real name – Nick Murphy.

Supporting Murphy’s exciting musical evolution, Laneway Festival 2017 is set to exclusively present the very first Nick Murphy shows in Singapore and Australasia.

His dynamic performance will be a showcase of existing catalogue and new material. His new track, Fear Less, offers a glimpse of a brilliant sound that amalgamates past and present influences.

Murphy’s debut album, Built On Glass, has gone platinum, and his recent collaborations with musicians Marcus Marr and Flume were also winners.

As Chet Faker, he has sold out headline tours and played throughout Europe, Asia and North America at longstanding music festivals, such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival, the Glastonbury Festival and the Primavera Sound Festival.

In the lineup for Laneway Festival Singapore 2017 also boasts local shoegaze band Astreal and Japanese acts Wednesday Campanella and KOHH for the first time.
Here is the full line-up, with more acts to be announced:
