Okay, hold up. Neon Lights, the festival that brought us an eclectic range of acts such as Damien Rice, Flight Facilities and Chic at their stellar debut last year, is back for the second time running, announcing headliners Foals and Sigur Rós as forerunners of the predicted awesome 2016 line-up happening on 26 and 27 November this year.
This morning, Neon Lights released a cryptic photo on its Facebook page, apparently denoting the acts that will be present this year.
Among these pictures are some “Crystal Castles” in the sky, a “Gold Panda“, a “blood bag next to an orange” (Blood Orange), “a girl named ‘Lucy’ next to a bunch of roses” (Lucy Rose), a “Chair that is lifted” (Chairlift), the upside-down words “SBTRKT” – and is that a soundsystem next to a TV we see? (LCD soundsystem, we hope!)
Last year’s Neon Lights saw 10,000 music fans converging on the plains of Fort Canning Park across 6 stages, and featuring acts such as Damien Rice, Chic, Daughter, and Ratatat. There were art exhibits, games, poetry slams, and comedy performances as well.
Neon Light’s will be announcing their full line-up this coming wednesday, 27 July at 8pm.
Here’s our predicted line-up:
- Crystal Castles
- LCD Soundsystem
- Gold Panda
- Blood Orange
- Neon Indian
- Sigur Rós
Who else do you think will be on this year’s Neon Lights line-up?
