The Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is back for its 26th edition from 26th November to 6th December 2015.

Having returned for its 25th edition back in 2014 after a two-year hiatus, the Singapore International Film Festival made a strong comeback last year with 147 movies from 50 countries. Stars and filmmakers graced the festival at red carpet premieres, with the likes of actresses Zhang Ziyi and Juliette Binoche in attendance.

Alongside the festival are several returning programs like the SGIFF Southeast Asian Film Lab for aspiring film directors, and SGIFF Youth Jury & Critics Programme for aspiring film critics from post-secondary and tertiary institutions, among others.

The SGIFF, along with the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), Screen Singapore (SS) and Asian Television Awards, are part of the Singapore Media Festival (SMF) hosted by the Media Development Authority. It will take place from 26 November to 6 December 2015.

Film submissions are now open until 21st August 2015. Applications for the Southeast Asian Film Lab and Youth Jury & Critics Programme are also open.

Closing date for submissions: 21st August 2015, 6.00PM (GMT +8)
