Liverpool Fans: Your Post-Steven Gerrard Pick-Me-Up Musical Is In Asia

The hooplah of LFC supporters waving teary goodbyes to LA Galaxy bound Reds skipper, Steven Gerrard – who is bound for LA Galaxy – as he joins the pantheon of other Liverpool icons like Kenny Dalglish and Bill Shankly, has definitely kindled good ol’ memories of Liverpool glory over the years.

For Southeast Asian fans who’ve never walked alone, the Official Story of Liverpool Football Club Musical written by Nicholas Mark Allt arrives at a propitious time on our shores to bring to life some of the Reds’ greatest memories and present day glories on a different kind of stage.

Documenting stories from the era of Elisha Scott, Albert Stubbins and Billy Liddell to Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard and Brendan Rodgers, writer-producer Allt covers every significant moment of the club’s vast 120-year history through a show that will make fans laugh, cry and cheer out loud. Amongst the full cast are UK stars Mark Moraghan (Brookside, Holby City), and Jake Abraham (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).

Having attracted rave reviews from critics and audiences alike from UK fans, this Liverpool FC inspired musical is set to make its debut with SaiKris Leisure and Alterean Media in Kuala Lumpur from July 31 to August 2 and Jakarta from August 7 to 9, before returning to Singapore next year.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketpro now, Liverpool fans!
