“The Voice”: Battle On!
After the Blind Auditions, it’s up to the judges to select the final 16 to go onto the live shows. And how will they do that? Through the Battle Rounds! We saw 4 battles this week, 1 from each coach.
Christina’s Team: Frenchie Davis vs Tarralyn Ramsey
A true Diva-Off this one was! Both were amazing! But, Tarralyn did sound very nscreechy at one point. I am so glad Xtina chose Frenchie! Congrats, girl!
Blake’s Team: Tyler Robinson vs Patrick Thomas
Both boys did great, but honestly, I felt that Tyler’s soulful voice did better. It was pretty damn unlucky that Blake chose a Rock N Roll song, which isn’t exactly Tyler’s genre. I really wished that Blake listened to Cee Lo and Adam, Tyler rocked it! You will be missed.
Adam’s Team: Tim Mahoney vs Casey Weston
All I can say is that I wish both could get in! I love Tim’s unique voice! Especially his falsetto. Casey has such a sweet voice, too. But one had to leave, and that sadly, had to be Tim.
Cee Lo’s Team: Vicci Martinez vs Niki Dawson
Cee Lo, ARE YOU CRAZY?! You put 2 of the best on your team to pit against each other?! This was THE battle of the night. Niki has a GREAT voice, so much heart and soul in it, but damn, you really can’t beat the passionate Vicci.
