Move over “American Idol”, “The Voice” reigns supreme

It’s the second episode, and yes, “The Voice” amazes us, yet again! Contestants vie to impress the judges, and some sure did! Here’s a quick round-up of the contestants we love!
Devon Barley
Why do we love him? He may not look like a star and might be a little pitchy, but he’s still hella cute and has tons of potential! I’m pretty damn sure Adam can help him reach that. All I can say is, good luck, med school kid!
Raquel Castro
Why do we love her? She’s AMAZING. She’s 16. And she pretty much has one of the most soulful voices on the show! It was pretty tense watching Blake trying to convince Adam to accept her, but both we and Adam know that she’s for Christina. It truly is the right pairing! Side note, I LOVE her smile!
Tyler Robinson
Why do we love him? His take on “Hey, Soul Sister” is great, to say the least. Pitchy? Yes, a little. But his stage presence pretty much makes up for it. And he is so brave; growing a gay Mormon, and coming out to his Dad on television? Wow. Just WOW.
Dia Frampton
Why do we love her? Dia isn’t new to the music scene at all. Her sister, Meg and her make up indie pop group “Meg & Dia“, which is pretty damn popular in the indie-pop scene. No, we aren’t biased just cause we love “Meg & Dia”. Her voice is so sweet, and really can make you smile, even on your worst day ever. Plus, she’s cute, even Cee Lo flirted with her. .)
And that’s a wrap, we have our Final 32! I can’t wait for next week’s Battle Round. Like Adam said, the judges (and America) don’t want any other voice that can win American Idol. They need a special “something” that many among the Final 32 have!
And how’s The Voice doing viewership-wise? It beat “Glee”, again, with 12.58 million views! And if you think “The Voice” makes “American Idol” seem like the dullest show ever, we wholeheartedly agree!
