Is there too much hate on Chris Brown? Dancing with the Stars performance did more harm than good.

Is it time for the world to stop hating on Chris Brown? It doesn’t look like this guy stands a chance. His performance on Dancing with the Stars did more harm than good, with fans boycotting the show because of his presence.

Some of the reactions on twitter:

“I did not watch Dancing with the Stars last night until the last 2 minutes. I boycotted the show cause of Chris Brown He sickens me,” Twittered  @Sweetprincess17.

Added @beck6264, “I didn’t watch the #DWTS results show last night, but I hope people booed Chris Brown.”

Twittered stofte, “Ugh. ANYONE who compares Chris Brown to Michael Jackson just disgusts me.

@girldaumaolhada wrote, “When’s someone gonna to teach Chris Brown a lesson not to beat up women. He’s such a tuff guy,” referring to his 2009 arrest for allegedly assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna.

@ AmNoise: “Chris Brown got a standing-O on ‘Dancing W/ The Stars’. How selfish are you, people? I’ll only applaud when he goes back to therapy.

It seems the world isn’t over the incident with Rihanna 2 years ago, even after Rihanna removed the restraining order and he has proved himself with his latest album F.A.M.E reaching #1. This is especially so for Cheryl Burke, who dismissed the performance entirely.

“As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control,” she told Extra on Tuesday.

However, not everyone dismissed it, fans were rooting for Brown on twitter as well!

Said  @clare_geraghty, “Wise DWTS host didn’t ask #ChrisBrown about Rihanna or his #GMA outburst. Sick performance, esp the little bro’s moves!”

@clare_geraghty wasn’t the only one who stuck up for Brown.

@ChrisBrownation wrote, “R E T W E E T this if you think Chris Brown’s Performance tonight on “Dancing With The Stars” was A M A Z I N G”

Added @_BossKitty, “So Chris Brown did a great performance on Dancing with the Stars… #notshock.”

Said @TinyaGidiboi: “Seems like chris brown is back on top.”

If you haven’t caught the performance, catch them here :

Honestly, this man has T A L E N T.

Yes, domestic violence shouldn’t be tolerated, but when people refuse to accept that one has talent despite all the controveries surrounding him, i think it’s a little bit foolish. It’s fine to hate on him for what he did, but at least acknowledge that he has talent very rare possess.

You CAN however dismiss him for lip-syncing. What are your thoughts? Are we too mean on Chris Brown?
